The intersection of Startups and Sustainability
Mandy is a global innovation strategist who has worked at the intersection of early stage ventures and sustainability. As a Cambridge Institute of Sustainability Leadership (CISL) alumni, Mandy consults for Businesses and Governments on ESG and Sustainability solutions. Mandy is an advisor on the SME action board to the UK Government Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). She is also a speaker on Diversity,Equity and Inclusion within the early stage tech industry and on Climate change solutions.
Mandy is a promoter of environmental, social and economic sustainability, and has supported early stage ventures that focus on climate change mitigation, through renewable energy, waste management and circular economy solutions and the electrification of transportation.
Mandy is passionate about helping leaders of large complex organisations map their future towards sustainability by investing in social and environmental solutions that reduce inequality, eradicate poverty, and protect planet earth.

To help current and future leaders create solutions that drive a more sustainable and equitable society, with the environment and its people in mind.
Corporate Innovation :
Working at the intersection of public and private sector, Mandy has provided mentorship to SME’s who are focused on Advanced construction, Built Environment and Intelligent mobility solutions via Connected places catapult programme , a UK government backed not- for-profit organisation accelerating cities to a net zero target. Mandy is keen to work with corporates to help them solve their ESG challenges through innovation.
Environmental and Social Sustainability:
Mandy has supported entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds through Startup Discovery School by providing mentorship and expertise such as fundraising strategies and business growth. 70% of the founders have identified as female and 90% identify as an ethnic minority. SDS is currently building a venture studio that will support entrepreneurs across the globe who are solving climate change issues.
